Healthy Pumpkin Pie

Autumn is finally here and for that reason I have a brand new recipe for you! I’ve never made a typical pie so when I was thinking about what to make I had decided to try to bake a pumpkin Pie! Not just because it was a challenge for me but because I am a big pumpkin lover.


1 cup pumpkin puree

1/2 cup of coconut sugar

1 large egg

2 eggs whites

1 cup of almond milk

1 tsp of vanilla extract

1 frozen sheet pie

1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon of mixed spice

The recipe is super easy!

Preheat the oven at 170 C°.

Dust the board with flour and roll out the pie sheet. Make sure that the sheet is not frozen but at room temperature and leave the little bit of sheet later for decoration.

Place the sheet into the pie dish. The best size is 9 – inch.

Take the large bowl and mixed the pumpkin puree and butter. Use the electric mixer for blending.

Then add the rest of the ingredients. The brown sugar, the egg, two egg’s whites, milk, spices, and vanilla. The texture should be smooth after mixing.

Pour this mixture onto the unbaked pie and make some nice decoration from the rest of the sheet. I tried to make the pie braid.

Bake for 15 minutes

And that’s all! Nothing too tricky, right?

I am sure this pie will be great for an upcoming Halloween night as a treat or Bonfire night as a dessert for your friends.
